Some relationships are made of small things: a sentence repeated at the table, a joke that never gets old, a phrase in the language of home. This project began with the wish to hold on to those moments, and to look closely at what usually goes unnoticed.

“Docu — Dad” is a personal documentary project centered around my relationship with my father. Built from private recordings and everyday conversations, the booklet combines illustration, editing, and storytelling to capture the humor, intimacy, and complexity of a familiar relationship.
